Y se empeña en cantarlo todo él, en lugar de incluir colaboraciones de otras voces. Sus discos ya son menores. Lo que no quita de que haya sido, es, uno de los mejores guitarristas de rock (y de lo que quiera) de la historia del Pop. Al nivel de Mike Oldfield, Brian May, David Guilmour, Jeff Beck, entre otros...

Este es uno de los temas en que Steve demuestra que él era el verdadero alma de los mejores Genesis, y resume su enorme capacidad de componer, arreglar, dirigir, tocar y además cantar, en seis minutos gloriosos (más de ocho en esta actuación en vivo). Grande Hackett.

Nach über 40 Jahren recht intensiven Konzertbesuchs zählt dieser Abend im E-Werk auch in Nachhinein zu den Highlights. Tränen in den Augen bei " Going to California" . Nie im Leben hätte ich daran geglaubt eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslieder noch einmal Live aus diesem Mund zu hören. Danke Robert und danke fürs reinstellen.
